Myths About People in the Military
I believe the true faith of an American is shown when they join a branch of the armed forces. At this point, joining the military runs in my family. My dad’s dad was in the US Army, my mom’s dad was in the German Army, two of my five brothers are Marines, and two of my other brothers were considering joining the Army, but were not eligible because of health issues. In addition to this list, there is a long line of uncles and cousins in my family who are in the Army/have served. As a seventeen year old in the process of joining the United States Army, I’ve been exposed to many individuals with their own ideas, beliefs, and...other...mythical thoughts about the Army and I feel I should inform people of the truth.
Myths About the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
The two largest Christian denominations in the world are Roman Catholicism with 1.2 billion members (“How Many Roman Catholics Are There in the World?”) and Protestantism with 900 million members (Kiprop). The Roman Catholic religion traces its history back nearly 2,000 years and believes that Jesus Christ founded it in the year 33 AD (“History of the Catholic Church”). The Protestant religion was founded by German monk Martin Luther and others after protesting and separating from the Roman Catholic Church in 1517 (“Ericksen”). On April 16, 1830, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS) was founded by Joseph Smith in Fayette Township, New York...
Myths About Teenagers
As an individual nearing the end of my teenage years, I have come to find there are a lot of misconceptions about us teenagers. Even though I do technically fall into the category of being a teenager by being between the ages of thirteen and nineteen, as long as I can remember, I have always been regarded as being significantly more mature than my peers. According to what most out-of-touch adults believe about us, we are all alcoholic potheads who have risky, unprotected sex. Although, I have had my short-lived experimental experiences with the first two, believing that all or even most teenagers live this reckless lifestyle is simply untrue and I have the facts to back it.

Myths About Athletes
There are so many myths involving Athletes; especially to the people that don’t know a whole lot about being an athlete and are always listening to what these so called “experts” have to say about them. So I want to break down five myths that I find that are important especially if you are or even aren’t an athlete.

Myths About Native Americans
Stereotypes and misconceptions about Native Americans have been around for hundreds of years. Most of these common misconceptions come from some cultures who have only been taught or told one thing about a subject or group of individuals. In my experience I have met many Native Americans who destroy the stereotypes placed among them, thus constantly surprising me to the incorrect knowledge I have been taught about their culture. Several myths surround the Native American culture which mostly derive from, again, the lack of knowledge on this culture, as well as tales and mixed stories passed down through history. I will be describing the worldwide myths about Native Americans such as Native Americans get a free ride from US government, All Native Americans are rich from casinos, Mascots honor Native Americans, Thanksgiving proves Native Americans welcomed the pilgrims, and All the real Indians died off.

Myths About Female Wrestlers
As a female wrestler I get asked questions about being a wrestler all the time. Most of these questions are absurd however, they are stereotypes and untrue. Women wrestlers are always getting stereotyped just because other athletes and outsiders don’t really know how it works period mens or womens, only a true wrestler or someone who has family or friend background in the sport knows.

Myths About Homeless People
Homelessness is the condition in which individuals are without a lasting staying, for example, a house or flat. There are numerous legends and generalizations about "homeless people". Legends and generalizations occur because of misguided judgments conceived of obliviousness, overgeneralizations from one single experience, and poor access to the actual facts. Since homeless people are frequently called "the invisible population," it is justifiable why these legends and generalizations create and why they continue. Be that as it may, fantasies and generalizations can be tested by realities and separated by those eager to investigate what they thought they knew.
Myths About Black People
Color, Color, Color! There are colors all around us but the color that seem to influence us to do things and make decisions is the color of our skin. Many African Americans are similar in taste and style but for the most part no one on earth is identical or likes the exact same thing. People have a variety of reasons for not being similar but the main reason is where they grew up and how their parents or guardian raised them
